"The Power of Positive Thinking" Chapter 7-9

Hay Everyone, this time I will discuss chapter 7-11, I hope this book can help us to always think positively.

CHAPTER 7 “Expect the Best and Get it”
In this chapter explain that, there is a young man who fails to do anything, even though he has everything, from a good family, his education is high, his business is developing very well. However, he always fails everything he touches must be wrong, he has tried hard enough. However, at this time he found the answer, a very simple but powerful answer. After he tried with his new secret, he began to rise and avoid failure even he became a success this youth personality began to focus and continue to grow. The author explains in this chapter that the author was having lunch with the young man then the writer asked him, "You amaze me." Then the author commented "a few years ago you failed in everything, now that you have developed and developed original ideas into good business, you are the leader of your community, please explain this extraordinary change in you."
"Really it was quite simple," he replied. "I merely learned the magic of believing, I discovered that if you expect the worst you will get the worst, and if you expect the best you will get the best." William James the famous psychologist said, "Our belief at the beginning of a doubtful undertaking is the one thing (now get that - is the one thing) that insures the successful outcome of your venture." To learn to believe is of primary importance, it is the basic factor of succeeding in any undertaking. When you expect the best, you release a magnetic force in your mind which by a law of attraction tends to bring the best to you. But if you expect the worst, you release from your mind the power of repulsion which tends to force the best from you. It is amazing how a sustained expectation of the best sets in motion forces which cause the best to materialize.

CHAPTER 8 “I Don’t Believe in Defeat”
IF YOU ARE thinking thoughts of defeat, I urge you to rid yourself of such thoughts, for as you think defeat you tend to get it. Adopt the "I don't believe in defeat" attitude.
In this chapter, the author tells you about some people who have applied this philosophy with very good results and will explain the formula techniques they use very successfully. If you read these incidents carefully and attentively and believe what they do and think positively, apply this technique. You can also overcome defeat which at the moment may seem inevitable.
The author hopes that you aren't like a "Obstacle man" to whom I am told, he is called a barrier because apart from any suggestions put forward, his mind immediately goes to all possible obstacles, but he meets his match and gets lessons that help change attitudes the negative, that happens in the following way.
The directors of his firm had a project under consideration which involved considerable expense and some definite hazard as well as success possibilities. In the discussions regarding this venture the obstacle man would invariably say, and always with a scholarly air (invariably this type acts wise, probably a cover-up for inner doubt feelings), "Now just a momment, let's consider the obstacle involved."
Another man who said very little but who was respected by his associates for his ability and achievments and for a certain indomitable quality which charachterized him, presently spoke up and asked, "Why do you constaintly emphasize the obstacles in this proposition instead of the possibilities?".
“Because”, replied the obstacle man, “to be intelligent one must always be realistics, and it’s a fact that there are certain definite obstacles in connection with this project. What attitude would you take toward these obstacles, may I ask?’
The other man unhesitatingly replied. “What attitude would I take toward these obstacle.? Why I would just remove them, that’s all and the I would forget them.”

CHAPTER 9 “How to Break the Worry Habit”
YOU DON'T need to be a victim of worry, reduced to its simplest form, what is worry? It is simply an unhealthy and destructive mental habit. You acquired it, and because you can change any habit, any acquired attitude, you can cast worry from your mind. Since aggressive, direct action is essential in the elemination process, there is just one proper time to begin an effective attack on worry, and that is now. So, let us start breaking your worry habit at once.

The conclusion is that in doing everything we must expect the best and try to do everything with positive thinking. Never feel disappointed if something we do always fails, the thing we have to do is try, if we feel we are failing but we will feel defeated, for that we do not believe in defeat, even though life is not always happy and feels victorious . However, what's wrong with put positive thoughts in us to arouse enthusiasm. 💪😊😊
